In every gamer’s heart, there is a game which he or she never have enough of. Just how many players keep enjoying World of Warcraft until this day. Just as well, there are those titles which aren’t quite there yet, but already create so much hype and anticipation, that many of us just feel very thrilled and restless.
Here is a list of the most anticipated games right now:
1. Metro Exodus
The third edition, inspired by the work of Dmitry Głuchowski, a popular FPS series, developed by 4A Games studio. As a player you take the role of Artyom wandering across Russia, which is destroyed by the nuclear war that took place over twenty years before the events presented in the game. Metro Exodus is expands upon the concepts initiated in its predecessors – once exploration is the main part of the game (this time, apart from urban areas and underground tunnels, we were given various and extensive wild areas available to explore), fighting against opponents, and sneaking. The latter is important because not only armed people are on our way, but also mutated creatures – if knocking down a smaller adversary is not a big problem for the protagonist, defeating one of the larger mutants can cause a significant difficulty. Entirety of the game attracts attention due to the high quality graphic design.
2. Age of Empires IV
The fourth full-fledged edition of the famous real-time strategy cycle, classified as one of the most important representatives of its genre. Unlike the previous AoE games, developed by the now-defunct Ensemble Studios, the team responsible for creating the AoE IV is Relic Entertainment, known mainly for such series as the Company of Heroes and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War. In terms of mechanics, however, Age of Empires IV remains faithful to the scheme worked out by its esteemed predecessors. Players are at the forefront of the chosen civilization (European, Asian and Arabic nations) and they lead it through successive stages of development. During the game, we acquire raw materials, build new buildings and issue powerful and diverse armies to fight. In addition to the variants of the single-player game, the game offers, of course, an extensive multiplayer mode, in which we compete with other commanders from around the world.
3. Jurassic World: Evolution
The economic strategy prepared by the experienced Frontier Developments team (including the Rollercoaster Tycoon series), which takes place in the universe created for the needs of the movie series Jurassic Park/Jurassic World. The action of the game takes us into the near future, when humanity managed to develop a technology that allows the reproduction of prehistoric reptile DNA. Gameplay allows you to take the role of a game park manager, in which people can see the restored dinosaurs with their own eyes. According to the rules of the species, our duties include not only creating and presenting to the visitors subsequent species of reptiles, but also taking care of the entire park infrastructure and providing tourists with safety and a whole range of diverse attractions. The main aspect of Jurassic World: Evolution, however, is the economic aspect, and all player activities should be subordinated to investing constantly in the development of the park and getting richer.
4. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
The second full-fledged edition of the popular Mount & Blade series, which skillfully combined the elements of action games, strategy and RPG. Action takes place in a powerful land of Calradia, whose ruler died without leaving an heir. The hero’s task is to find himself in this complicated political situation, which is aggravated by groups of mercenaries and thugs. The game has traditionally been divided into a management-related strategic and dexterity part in which we lead the team created by them. In Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, a whole lot of improvements and modifications have been introduced that give it an even more sand-like character. Character creator and tutorial have been improved upon, and the crafting system was expanded. Lastly, the management of our properties was improved and a more realistic trading system was offered. In terms of the luminaire, more interactive interactivity and improved graphics take into account the changing weather and seasons.
