In every gamer’s heart, there is a game which he or she never have enough of. Just how many players keep enjoying World of Warcraft until this day. Just as well, there are those titles which aren’t quite there yet, but already create so much hype and anticipation, that many of us just feel very thrilled and restless.

The third edition, inspired by the work of Dmitry Głuchowski, a popular FPS series, developed by 4A Games studio. As a player you take the role of Artyom wandering across Russia, which is destroyed by the nuclear war that took place over twenty years before the events presented in the game. Metro Exodus is expands upon the concepts initiated in its predecessors – once exploration is the main part of the game (this time, apart from urban areas and underground tunnels, we were given various and extensive wild areas available to explore), fighting against opponents, and sneaking. The latter is important because not only armed people are on our way, but also mutated creatures – if knocking down a smaller adversary is not a big problem for the protagonist, defeating one of the larger mutants can cause a significant difficulty. Entirety of the game attracts attention due to the high quality graphic design.

In terms of mechanics, however, Age of Empires IV remains faithful to the scheme worked out by its esteemed predecessors. Players are at the forefront of the chosen civilization (European, Asian and Arabic nations) and they lead it through successive stages of development. During the game, we acquire raw materials, build new buildings and issue powerful and diverse armies to fight. In addition to the variants of the single-player game, the game offers, of course, an extensive multiplayer mode, in which we compete with other commanders from around the world.

In my opinion “Age of Empires IV” is the game that I Iove the most. The animation work done in it is exceptionally well that’s why it does make the list. I am a video animator myself at video animation inc. So, I understand animation work better than many.
